Access up to $5,000
A community grant provides financial support to local groups and organisations for projects, programs, and events that benefit the local community.

The City of Casey offers grants of up to $5,000 for activities conducted within the City of Casey or benefiting its residents.

Suitable courses for this grant include:

• First Aid
• CPR
• Mental Health First aid
• AUSLAN
• RSA
• Food Safety

Bookings into public programs are available. Alternatively, trainers can be sent to your location for private groups of 10 or more participants.

Frequency: Annually

Amount: $1,000 to $5,000 (we may not allocate the full amount you request)

Notification: Applicants are notified of the outcome of their application in June 2025.

Who can apply for this community grant?
To apply for this grant, your group must:

• be a registered (incorporated) not-for-profit club or community group. If your group is not incorporated, you will need an Auspice organisation (see the Auspice section below).
• meet or hold activities in the City of Casey or provide services to the Casey community.
• have public liability insurance of $20 million or more.
